The CUSP (California Underserved and Small Producer) Extreme‑Weather Assistance Program, administered locally by IERCD in partnership with CDFA, provides reimbursement grants of $2,500–$20,000 to support small and socially‑disadvantaged California farmers and ranchers affected by climate-related disasters such as drought, flooding, wildfires, heat waves, and severe storms.
Eligible applicants can recover costs incurred since 2017—covering everything from crop loss and debris removal to infrastructure repairs and increased utility bills—with funding awarded in ongoing application rounds until resources are fully allocated. Sign up now.
