Mary L coordinates Mission RCD's agricultural programs, providing outreach, technical assistance, and educational workshops that support sustainable farming and water conservation throughout the region. She works on a variety of state and federal initiatives, including the CDFA Water Efficiency and Technical Assistance (WETA) Program, the CDFA Healthy Soils Program, the NRCS Racial Equity Cooperative Agreement, and the NRCS Post-Disaster Recovery Program. As a bilingual English and Spanish speaker, Mary is committed to making conservation resources and technical assistance accessible to the diverse agricultural community.

Mary L holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering and has earned certifications as a Qualified Water Efficient Landscaper (QWEL), Advanced Micro Irrigation from UC Davis, Defensible Space Assessor through CAL FIRE, and Marketing and Sales Management. Her professional background includes supporting the San Diego County Water Authority's QWEL Professional Certification Program as a moderator, as well as leadership roles in the floral industry as a Plant Manager, Field Support, and Quality Assurance Manager. She enjoys helping growers adopt practical conservation practices that strengthen both their operations and the long-term health of the region's natural resources.
