Upcoming Workshops

MRCD is pleased to announce the next cohort of its training program in Agroecology, Farming & Food Pathways (AFFP), a training program on Urban and Rural Agroeco Food Systems and Microenterprises.

In partnership with Multinational Exchange for Sustainable Agriculture (MESA) in Berkeley, CA, the AFFP program offers two interactive online courses to explore a career in agriculture and earn a Certificate in Applied Agroecology.

The 3-month program includes guest presentations, hands-on farm training, local farm visits and a chance to connect and build community with other motivated emerging farmers.

We are currently recruiting for the 5th cohort of emerging farmers, starting August 8th. Classes meet Monday evenings from 6-8pm, workshops and farm visits are on Saturday mornings.

Program is free with priority given to socially disadvantaged participants
